Jon Clements

For more than 40 years, Jon has driven Clements Worldwide to be a globally recognized leader, known for building unique and customized insurance programs. He continues to preserve the warm and caring culture established by his parents, Robert S. Clements and M. Juanita Guess Clements.

He joined the firm in 1981 and soon after, he began to modernize and expand the company by broadening Clements’ portfolio of expatriate programs. Under his leadership, the company expanded their offices to include London, Dublin, and Gibraltar, which stand in addition to the original corporate headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Jon firmly advocates for an employee-centric company culture, where teams can grow and thrive. This culture has united his employees to a common cause and has fostered a loyal and stable workforce.

In addition to his role as Chairman, Jon travels worldwide as a featured speaker to governmental agencies and multinational companies, where he teaches the expatriate community how to secure effective insurance coverage globally. With the support of his leadership team, Jon continues to guide the company with the same entrepreneurial spirit of his beloved parents.

One of Jon’s passions, since he was a child, is building custom beach cruisers. The design focus is centered around it being long and low – and it looks very cool!
