Jon B. Clements, President & Chief Executive Officer
Jon Clements joined his family's international insurance agency in 1981 and became president eight years later. Under his leadership, Clements has grown significantly through the expansion and improvement of its global coverages. A recognized leader on international risk, Clements is a popular speaker and educator, both in the US and at embassies and consulates around the world.

Chris Beck, Senior Vice President of Insurance Sales
Chris Beck has led the sales divisions of Clements International since 2000. With almost 20 years of insurance experience, Beck has been responsible for the design of key insurance coverages tailored to the unique needs of international organizations and the expatriate community. He has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Maryland.

Thomas Lentz, Vice President, Finance
Thomas Lentz, CPA, joined Clements International in 2006. He has more than 25 years of experience, including 20 years in the insurance industry. His extensive background in financial and executive management, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, organizational development and operations makes him a valuable asset to Clements. Tom has a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, both from Loyola College in Baltimore.

Kathryn Sprouls, Vice President of Human Resources
Kathryn Sprouls joined Clements International in May 2007, bringing with her nearly 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Sales, and Operations, from companies such as Borders Books, Barnes and Noble, and The Museum Company. Clements is an excellent fit, as she has also spent several years as an expatriate in Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, and Europe. Sprouls completed her Bachelor's degree and post-graduate work in History.

Lloyd Yavener, Vice President of Marketing, Underwriting and Claims
A seasoned veteran of the insurance industry with more than two decades of experience, Yavener earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore, and is licensed to practice law in Maryland and Washington, DC. Prior to joining Clements, Yavener was President of Bankers Independent Insurance Company and General Counsel for American Independent Companies and Omni Insurance Group. Yavener has also served as a Director of the DC Insurance Guarantee Association, Chairman of the Maryland Insurance Guarantee Corporation, and on the Maryland Governor’s Executive Advisory Council.
