International Auto Insurance : Third Party Liability Detail

Primary Liability Coverage
Our policy can provide the locally required third party auto liability coverage while your automobile is being operated. Licensed drivers are covered for the sums they are legally obligated to pay as damages because of bodily injury and/or property damage to others.

In many countries, we provide the locally required Primary Auto Liability Insurance (Third Party) coverage in conjunction with your policy. Primary Liability policies are issued through a legally accepted insurance company in the country in which you reside and comply with the local operational laws and registration requirements.

Excess Liability
Our Excess Liability coverage extends the underlying coverage to meet the needs and expectations of professional expatriates. Now, you might be asking, “Why do I need Excess Liability Insurance?” The answer is that many Third Party (Primary) Liability policies purchased through local providers do not provide the appropriate level of coverage.

Case in Point: A government employee loses control of his vehicle and runs into a parked car. Upon contacting his local insurance company, learns that the local policy will not pay for the damages to the other car because no bodily injury was caused. A WorldAuto Excess Liability policy would provide this coverage.

The Fine Print

  1. A standard war exclusion applies.
  2. Coverage is excluded while the automobile is within the United States, Canada or the named insured's home country.
