Plan Descriptions
GlobalCare USAID Standard Plan
The Standard Plan offers comprehensive health and dental insurance, and includes Emergency Evacuation and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage.
GlobalCare USAID Enhanced Plan
The Enhanced Plan extends the coverage provided through our standard plan to include:
- Increased AD&D Coverage
- Supplemental Accident Coverage
- Vision Care Benefits
- Orthodontia
- Complementary Medical Benefits
Eligibility
GlobalCare USAID is available to USAID contractors and their families while working outside their home country on temporary or permanent assignments. Coverage is guaranteed to those who are not currently hospitalized, pregnant, HIV+ or permanently disabled.
Preferred Provider Network (PPN)
This plan participates in the Hygeia and First Health preferred provider network within the United States. In addition, members have access to an international network of English speaking doctors by registering online at www.globalcarehealthinsurance.com.
