The primary insurance plan is designed to provide comprehensive, worldwide medical insurance including international medical evacuation. This competitively priced insurance plan offers the best protection against current and future medical expenses. This plan is strongly recommended for all Volunteers, especially those currently seeking medical treatment for an illness or condition including pregnancy and maintenance prescriptions.
Monthly Premium: Volunteer $155. Spouse $143. Child $132.

Am I eligible for the program?
All Peace Corps and Crisis Corps Volunteers, Trainees and their families are eligible for the program upon close of service (COS).
Is CorpsCare plan right for me?
We encourage and recommend that all returning Peace Corps Volunteers extend their coverage under the primary CorpsCare program as it provides comprehensive healthcare benefits. It is especially important for any Volunteer currently seeking medical treatment and/or any Volunteer that has a pre-existing condition to extend their coverage through the primary program.
Extension of Coverage
Following your first month of free coverage, you have the option to extend your coverage up to an additional 18 months with the primary CorpsCare plan. It is important for all Volunteers to extend their coverage and enroll their families within 31 days of their COS date. Extend Now.
